Former Bike Rack DC Beginner ride, it has survived the closing of BRDC, and the pandemic, and morphed into a ride that offers something for everyone. A/B/C groups usually form after the first attack following a social start. Regroup at the turnaround and again at the finish.
If you’re feeling racy you can race. If you don’t have legs you can likely fall in with another group and meet up at the turnaround point (Viers Mill Park). Expect pace lines, breakaways and tactics up front, but very little vehicular traffic throughout. While it can get spicy, this is ultimately a social ride and all are welcome to enjoy post-ride refreshments and revelry at Don Juan's in Mount Pleasant, just a short climb past the finish.
