Have you ever wondered why D.C. has some of the best cycling in the region right on its doorstep? Cyclists are blessed with a 93,000-acre Agricultural Reserve just 30 minutes west of the city. The Ag Reserve, Maryland 's rural treasure, is home to hundreds of farms, orchards, galleries and a vineyard. Please join us on one of six scenic routes on lightly traveled roads around the Ag Reserve. Featured stops will be Homestead Farm and Kingsbury's Orchard, with the event culminating with a picnic.

For Ride Only, no registration is required. Veterans of the event may remember that the longest ride included a gravelly section. That route has been replaced by a much improved 75-mile, gravel-free, route that follows a portion of the 55 mile route but ventures over into the scenic northeast section of the reserve. This change has been approved by the "No Gravel" committee and is the ride coordinator's favorite.
