The freezing weather in March greatly impacted the turnout, and length, for this ride held March 11th. Let's actually get our first Century in for the season (either half, metric for full century).
The rides starts in Walkersville and travels into Pennsylvania (to Gettysburg for the full Century). The route is rolling terrain (no mountains to climb). We take in the covered bridges in Frederick County and the Sachs covered bridge in PA.
Hopefully, the Roddy Road bridge will be finished in time for our ride (if not we have a work around). Great way to get geared up for the cycling season before it gets too hot.
One rest stop on the 50, two on the Metric and 3 for the Century.
