Come ride with a friendly bunch, and we'll all improve as cyclists.
These rides have no major hills, but enough short ones to experiment and
develop strategies. Be aware that PPTC rides do leave on time, so
arriving a few minutes early is preferred. If you miss the start time,
no problem, you can start immediately, crossing Braddock Road, then
biking down Queensberry for 1.5 miles and make a right onto Heming
Avenue (a "T" intersection) where you can join the groups of riders.
You can individualize your distance, improve speed while learning to
take moderate hills on streets. Weekday training adds extra hours of
outdoor activities that improves our health and well being. Rides end
before dark. Riders gather after biking for a few minutes to swap
ideas, comments, etc. Wakefield Park has free parking and restrooms.
"CC" thru "D" riders will gather in the first parking lot on the left,
then look for leaders: Woody, Shirley, Peter, Martt, or Neal. This
location also has a group of A/B riders in the 2nd
parking lot on the left and they leave first. Weather info is at
