Website Cyber Attack

Some of you may have noticed that the web site was unavailable at times over the weekend. The site was taken down by our web hosting service as a protective measure due to an apparent cyber attack. The "attack" was unsuccessful and we did not suffer any loss of data. The web site was restored to full functionality promptly.

Cyber attacks are a fact of life in the 21st century and they're an ongoing challenge.  We'll continue to act vigilantly whenever our site is attacked.

Heartbleed Bug

Our site never has been susceptible to the recent Heartbleed security bug.  Heartbleed attacks Open SSL which is an older, unsecure method of encrypting data.  We never have and never will use Open SSL on our site.  We use modern, much more secure 256 bit encryption schemes.

Credit Card Information

As a cautionary measure we do not store our member's credit card information on our site - your card information is only captured during the checkout process.  We also provide you with the option of paying by PayPal. When you pay by PayPal the credit card transaction takes place on their site, not ours.
