Bike to Work Day is a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun, and healthy way to get to work. It also presents a real opportunity for Potomac Pedalers to introduce commuters to our club. Thousands of riders participate; even last year with heavy rain we had many riders who braved the weather and stopped at the Ballston pit stop. There are 80 pit stops throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia where riders can commune with fellow cyclists, get refreshments, and enter into a raffle for bicycles being given away.

Potomac Pedalers is organizing tables at three pit stops: Freedom Plaza (in downtown DC), Rosslyn, and Ballston. We need more volunteers at each stop, particularly Rosslyn. If you can help, please contact Matt Birnbaum.

The 80 Pit Stops locations can be found on the Bike to Work Day website.

(Note that WABA and Commuter Connections are the overall organizers.)
