When you join Potomac Pedalers we automatically begin mailing you our monthly newsletter Pedal Patter. Instead of receiving Pedal Patter in the mail, you have the option of reading Pedal Patter online each month in PDF format on the following page - Media Room | Pedal Patter (requires website login)
If you would like to opt out of Pedal Patter mailings and save a tree, you can do this on your Personal Profile page of the website - Manage Profile | Edit Bio.
Halfway down the page is a Yes/No selector for receiving Pedal Patter mailings. Be sure to press Save Changes at the bottom of the page when you're done. See the image below circled in red.
Each month before Pedal Patter is mailed, we run a report and send it only to members who have selected Yes. You have the option of changing this setting at any time.
This sounds more like you have to "opt in" in order to receive the Patter in the mail. If in fact as you said, "Each month before Pedal Patter is mailed, we run a report and send it only to members who have selected Yes." That would explain why I haven't received my July copy yet. I have now checked yes.
