Ride Schedule Display Enhancement

We’re pleased to announce a new enhancement to our ride
schedule display. All rides now have a "popup”
descriptive window, resulting in faster browsing of the schedule.
Here’s how it works –
- Click on Ride Schedule and you’ll see the familiar ride
listing beginning with today’s rides
- Hover your mouse over the Ride Title (bold text) and a popup
window will appear
- The popup displays the ride description without having to load a new page
- If you need additional details, click on the title to be
taken to the ride page
- The popup is limited to the first 500 characters of the full
ride description
You’ll see that it’s very quick to scroll your mouse down the ride
listing page and view descriptions of all rides at a glance.
But wait, there’s more! The popup
window also works in the month view calendar.
- Click on Month View at the top of the Ride Schedule page and
the calendar will display
- Hover your mouse over a ride title and the popup appears
- You can browse an entire month’s schedule on one screen, without
a single mouse click
Don’t forget that you can still filter your results by making
a selection in the Categories menu – A, B, C, DC, MD, VA, etc.
Ride leaders – Please note that the popup will display the
first 500 characters of your ride description.
You may want to consider moving more critical information about your
ride to the beginning of the description so that it appears in the popup
window.
We hope that everyone enjoys this new Ride Schedule display
enhancement.
