America/New_York Greenbelt National Park Loop Join me this Sunday (12/15/19) as I will lead a Urban Adventure bike ride that will take us to Greenbelt National Park! The ride comes in around 37 miles at 1,300 feet of elevation, and it will take us up to Greenbelt National Park and back into DC along such trails as the Anacostia Riverwalk, Northeast & Northwest Branch, Metro Branch and on the 15th St two way cycle track. We will also cruise through the University Maryland and by the White House. Not a bad way to spend part of a #SundayFunDay! Meet 9:45 AM at the East Potomac Golf Course located at 972 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC 20024. Parking is free on Sunday at the Golf Course. Park in big lot and meet at the East Potomac Park Golf Center where the Potomac Grill is located. Look for the dude with the orange Salsa bike as that dude will be me! Wheels roll at 10:00 AM sharp. Water, restrooms, at ride start. We will stop along the way for breaks and quick eats at a convenience store. However, I advise bringing your own riding eats. The ride should come in around the 3-4 hour range at around 12-14 mph range. Also, I may have some cue sheets for the ride, but best that you download them and print them out from the PDF file provided for this ride posting. Take note while parking is free at the Golf Course, parking is also generally meter free on DC's streets on Sunday and there are various parking garages and lots within the immediate radius of the Golf Course. You can also check out www.spothero.com for parking availability and discounts on nearby lots. And for those traveling by Metro, take either the Blue, Green, Orange, Silver or Yellow line and get off at the L'Enfant Station. Exit the Station on 7th St SW and head south for about 4 or 5 blocks to Maine Ave SW. Make a right on Maine Ave SW and go about half mile and make a left on Ohio Dr SW and travel about a mile and the Golf Course will be on your right.  #bikedc #bikemd #bikedmv #potomacpedalers #urbanadventurebike #findyourpark East Potomac Park Golf Course (EPP)
