2019-12-07 09:30:00 2019-12-07 09:30:00 America/New_York "It's a Wonderful Life (Ride)" or 47 miles in Loudoun County This is time of year every town in Northern Virginia hosts a weekend Christmas Parade. I've personally selected a route that avoids those parades. Yes, it looks a lot like last week's route, but there are no parades. (There are parades in Middleburg and Marshal, if you must attend.) The mostly rural route starts in Leesburg and heads north to Waterford, Taylorstown, and Lovettsville for rest stop #1 at the very nice 7-11 (hot coffee). Then we gradually turn south, going through Hillsboro and the outskirts of Round Hill, before turning east for Purceville, home to many food and drink options. From there it's 10 miles back to your car. The pavement is great. The hills are manageable. I'll bring paper cue sheets. No restroom at start, so plan accordingly. Got questions? Email or text me, but don't wait for the morning of the ride. Loudoun County High School (LOU)
