The weather should still be cool enough to enjoy a morning 14-mile suburban loop ride from Rockville. We ride to the Intercounty Connector trail, cut off at Emory Trail, through easy neighborhood roads back to the Rock Creek Trail ending at the bike shop. We average about 10-12 mph casual pace and transition from urban trails to sidewalks to wooded park trails and low traffic streets---this has some rolling hills but nothing too challenging. Bring a helmet, water. We&#39;ll stay together so no one gets lost.<br /><br />Come a little early to get your bike ready or use the restroom-- to leave at 9. We will wait for latecomers about 5 or so minutes before the start.
