Expect mostly well-maintained dirt roads with occasional potholes, washboard, and possible recent maintenance that could leave loose dirt or gravel on the surface. Recommend gravel or cyclocross tires for comfort and safety. Rest stops as needed. Re-supply available at Hill Tom Mkt, Hillsboro, mile 23. This is intended to be a social/casual ride. There will be some regrouping, but if you're concerned about the pace, please bring a ride-buddy. I expect to average about 12.5-13 mph. You're welcome to ride your preferred pace.
