This Labor Day Ride has a different format from the Usual Monday Ride. The Group starts out together at Glen Echo, but splits half way through the ride in Travilah. Those wishing to go on the longer ride to Poolesville will break off from the group and follow the ride leader to Poolesville before returning to Glen Echo. Those preferring the 30 mile route will return with the assistant ride leader to Glen Echo Park. The ride leaders for the long and short rides will follow the course shown for the long and short rides above. No rest stop is planned for the short ride, but there will be a rest stop on the longer ride. As always, we do stop to regroup at decision points and at the tops of significant climbs. Just before the end of the ride, riders can stop at the cafe to socialize.
