Member Benefit: Help Raise Funds for ALS and Ride the Seagull for Free!

Monday, June 5, 2017

***The below text has been updated per the information received from the ALS Association.***

ALS Team Challenge is offering our members a free registration to the Seagull Century and wants to encourage everyone to help raise money for ALS research. Usually, free registrations are only given to folks who have raised $750. However, PPTC members will not have a fund raising requirement only need to raise $250. Also, if our members raise $500, they will receive a biking jersey.

6/15/2017 UPDATE: Members of our group will have to contact Eric Boiter, the Team Challenge ALS coordinator, at eboiter@alsinfo.org, or (301) 978-9855 ext 209. You would then tell him that you are a member of the Potomac Pedalers, and he will have to hold your credit card information, in case you do not raise your $250 minimum.

Riders have to register through Sea Gull Century, and ALS Team Challenge as well.

6/15/2017 UPDATE: Hi Potomac Pedalers!

We need to clarify the registration process with the group about the ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter, and Sea Gull Century registration. Going forward our group will have a special partnership that allows us to register for the Sea Gull Century for free, however there will be a fundraising minimum of $250 that you will be responsible for raising. Members of our group will have to contact Eric Boiter, the Team Challenge ALS coordinator, at eboiter@alsinfo.org, or (301) 978-9855 ext 209. You would then tell him that you are a member of the Potomac Pedalers, and he will have to hold your credit card information, in case you do not raise your $250 minimum. Also, there is still an incentive prize of a riding jersey at the $500 level! Please reach out to Eric Boiter if you have registered through them already so that we may get everything straightened out.
