America/New_York Hot & Spicy - Wandering South of Warrenton, Va. If you're training for mountains, you may want to avoid this ride. It's about as flat as any ride in Northern Virginia can be. Two routes - 44 and 55.5 miles. All start in downtown Warrenton and cruise south through farm lands to the first rest stop at the Elk Run Store (Mile 21), Routes stay together until mile 30. Long route goes to Remington for Rest Stop 2 at the Citgo (Mile 36). Short route takes a more direct way back to Warrenton. Ride leader intends to do the long route and lead from the back at a B pace. The 8 a.m. start means we should be back well before 1 p.m., but after the Wort Hog Brewery opens two blocks from the start. No restroom at the start, and don't count on ducking behind a tree (It's next door to the county jail). If you have questions, call or email, just don't wait until Saturday morning. Leader hopes to bring analog cue sheets.       Warrenton Municipal Lot (WAR)
