Ride Schedule

America/New_York Wednesday Lunch Ride (El Andariego) An interesting but somewhat hilly 16 mile route (mostly roads, some of Matthew Henson Trail, and a few short connector bike trails) to El Andariego (Mexican) restaurant (http://elandariegomexicanrestaurant.com/) in Ashton MD. Return ride is slightly shorter at about 15 miles for a round trip of about 31 miles. A couple significant hills (~670’ climb to lunch and ~443’ climb on the way back) and the trails will slow our C pace for the whole ride to an average of about 11 miles per hour (slower when uphill and faster when downhill or flat roads). See the Ride Class Table (https://www.potomacpedalers.org/ride-class-table ) for more info on ride classes and average speeds. This is a social ride where we try to stick together. However, if you would to prefer to ride at your own pace, then please let me know and I will bring a printed cue sheet for you. Don't forget lock, helmet, and lunch money. Please arrive in time to be ready to roll at our departure time of 9:45.   Feel free to use the “Sign Up For This Ride” button above, but at the start of the ride you will still be required to sign the waiver and provide emergency contact info.
